Similarities and differences

These are Similarities and difference between these four photojournalists. First of all, they all were photojournalists of the war. But they show the war in different views or focused in different point, like Fenton only want to show the good side of war, avoiding those injured, mutilated or even the dead soldiers. Its only show one side of the war not the entirety. However, Brady it’s completely different in his approach, he’s showing both side of the war, not matter it’s good or bad. And for Gardner who is known for potentially manipulating his pictures to depict more dramatic situation, but he is also known for showing both side of the war, with more dramatic sequence on the bad side. Also Capa who was known as the realistic photographic, who’s willing to get in to no matter how risky, how difficulty or how far fetched the situation, he would do whatever he could do to capture the realistic picture. And he said “If your photographs aren't good enough, you're not close enough.". this is the reason that he sets himself apart from the other photographers, because he’s willing to get closer than any other photographer, to portray a sense of involvement with the picture he took.

I agree with your said that "this is the reason that he sets himself apart from the other photographers, because he’s willing to get closer than any other photographer, to portray a sense of involvement with the picture he took."
In my point of view,I also believe because Capa gone through so many wars and this is why his pictures influence on history so much and be profound and lasting. Every moment that he captured are really express his feeling because he had most impressive experiences.
